Dries Van Noten was born in Antwerp (Belgium) in 1958. Grandson of a tailor and son of the owner of a fashion store. Today he is considered one of the best fashion designers in history.

In 1986 he presented his first men’s clothing collection in London with other five graduates at the School of Antwerp and became known, with his brand Dries Van Noten, as one of the “Antwerp Six”(Martin Margiela, Dirk Bikkembergs, Walter van Beirendonck, Ann Demeulemeester, Marina Yee and Dries).

Van Noten has been working in the fashion world for 25 years and, according to Vogue magazine, “throughout his career he has managed to combine as few functionality and design and make well-digested folklore one of his hallmarks.”
