Cósima Güell: “Outer beauty is a reflection of inner well-being.”

Co-founder of RASSA, a holistic cosmetics brand created from natural essential oils, where body and mind are cared for consciously.

Beyond her entrepreneurial side, her aesthetic sensitivity and her family connection to the Güell Lamadrid universe naturally link her to design, textiles, and the beauty of everyday life.
Cósima opened the doors of her home in Barcelona to us for a Güell Lamadrid HOME photoshoot. An authentic and lived-in house, where textiles coexist with objects, scents, and details that speak of her way of inhabiting the world. In it, tradition and contemporaneity meet subtly, reminding us that, just like with textiles, personal stories are also intertwined.

The Güell family has been connected to textiles for generations. How do you experience this heritage in your daily life?

I love fabrics; they are always present in my home, making it look lived-in and full of personality.

“For me, textiles are memory and emotion: they dress a space, but they also make it more human and close.”

Through RASSA, you have created your own universe of well-being and conscious care. How is this philosophy reflected in your way of understanding life?

It reflects in everything. I understand well-being in an integral way: I take care of what I eat, what I put on my skin, the water I drink, the exercise I do, and I try to meditate. I am clear that outer beauty is a reflection of inner well-being.

What do you look for when choosing fabrics, materials, or furniture for your home?

I like natural fabrics, noble materials, and mid-century pieces, although I enjoy mixing all kinds of furniture.

“Natural fabrics are the ones that best dialogue with my way of living: they convey authenticity, calm, and truth.”

If you had to recommend a simple ritual to relax at home, what would it be?

Always apply face moisturizer with a small self-massage and, in general, enjoy and consciously perform the entire skincare routine.

Tell us a scent, an object, and a feeling that are always present in your home.

Sandalwood, a lamp rescued from some deballage, and a feeling of a lived-in and enjoyed home.

What is your favorite Güell Lamadrid HOME collection?

All the collections are wonderful; choosing just one is impossible. I love mixing, so I would take a piece from one and another. My favorites are the Dorian cushion, the Legacy or the Nere, the mustard plaid… everything is a dream of quality, finish, and design.
